Hailing from the the serene beaches of Australia’s 'Sunshine Coast', HOBO MAGIC sling out a unique brand of old-school inspired psychedelic Rock'n'Roll madness with a love of all things groovy and heavy.  The talented trio surge with a cyclonic riff energy, spawned from the embers of the kings that riffed before them, taking the listener on a journey through uncharted places of the mind. 

After a successful debut self-titled release (when the band were just 16 years old) and follow up debut album 'The World Today’ which sold over 1000 vinyls worldwide, Hobo Magic have dominated Australia’s scene, relentlessly ripping out their style of heavy groove mayhem over the last decade.

The acclaimed act has supported such International heavyweights as Radio Moscow, Earthless, Elder, Lecherous Gaze, Red Fang, Kadavar, Nick Oliveri, Truckfighters and The Sword, leaving ringing ears and smiling faces in their wake with a 2020 view to forge new pathways through Europe and beyond.

Hobo Magic have recently toured Japan and New Zealand along with landing European label deals with Kozmik Artifactz/Oak Island Records and distribution through Cargo Records, having also entered the major domestic festival circuit appearing at Falls Festival, Big Pineapple Music Festival, Jungle Love, Dead of Winter Festival, Mojo Burning, River Rocks, CherryFest and many more.

With two successful releases under their belt, the band have been busy in the studio recording their soon-to-be-released sophomore full length entitled ‘Mt Mind’, an all encompassing sonic journey encapulating band influences in what will be their most daring release to date.  A fourth release has also been written and will propel the band worldwide over the next two years.

Hobo Magic over the past few years have been building up their road and air miles, smashing out single release tours and travelling all through the states of Australia bringing good time grooves to bars, pubs, venues and anywhere with a power outlet.

Currently laying the finishing touches on their next two unreleased albums, the band hit Europe from June 2020 with the view of multiple years of touring the continent and experiencing all it has to offer.
