In ‘Locket’ The Lonesomes venture beyond their established post-punk sound, drawing inspiration from unexpected genres such as EDM, drum and bass (DnB), and hip-hop. This departure from their traditional influences—like Joy Division and The Cure—marks a deliberate effort to infuse their music with fresh, innovative textures.

 

The Lonesomes have built a reputation for electrifying live performances, sharing stages and festival bills with a roster of Australian icons, including The Chats, Bad Dreams, Ruby Fields, Mini Skirt, and Dune Rats. As they continue to push the envelope with their experimental sound, "Locket" promises to further solidify their status as one of Australia’s most exciting up and coming and genre-defying bands.

Off the back of their UK/EU World Wide Wave Tour, Selve joins forces with Butterknife (NSW) and TV Misery (NSW) for an unforgettable night of alternative tunes as they take the stage at Mo's Desert Clubhouse. 

 

With a freshly-released EP, GC heartthrobs SELVE are back on the Mo's stage as a band celebrated for their electrifying live performances.

Their music fuses powerful melodies with heartfelt lyrics, creating a captivating experience for listeners which has seen them perform at the likes of Bigsound, Beyond The Music Festival (UK), Woodford Folk Festival and Blak Day Out as well as featuring on RAGE.

 

Hailing from Newcastle on their national 'Lilith' EP Tour, Butterknife brings their own unique flavor to the night, known for their high-energy shows and engaging stage presence, they’re sure to leave a lasting impression. For the first time at Mo's!

 

Northern Rivers TV Misery, featuring members of Wharves, adds to the lineup with their gritty sound and raw energy, captivating listeners with their thought-provoking lyrics and dynamic sound.
