THE LONESOMES: BNE
SAT NOV 16
GREASER / BRISBANE
Australian-based trio The Lonesomes are set to captivate with their latest single, ‘Locket’, venturing out on their first East Coast tour this Oct/Nov.
In ‘Locket’ The Lonesomes venture beyond their established post-punk sound, drawing inspiration from unexpected genres such as EDM, drum and bass (DnB), and hip-hop. This departure from their traditional influences—like Joy Division and The Cure—marks a deliberate effort to infuse their music with fresh, innovative textures.
The Lonesomes have built a reputation for electrifying live performances, sharing stages and festival bills with a roster of Australian icons, including The Chats, Bad Dreams, Ruby Fields, Mini Skirt, and Dune Rats. As they continue to push the envelope with their experimental sound, "Locket" promises to further solidify their status as one of Australia’s most exciting up and coming and genre-defying bands.
Joined by Annoying Neighbours, Fast Johnny and the Slow Burners, and SOURPUSS.

MO'S DESERT CLUBHOUSE
THE PSYCHOS ARE COMIN’ TO THE GOLDY
Beer Santa is coming early this year with Oz Punk icons Cosmic Psychos appearing at Gold Coast's Live Music Venue of the Year Mo's Desert Clubhouse on Saturday 14 December.
The Cosmic Psychos are (almost) an Australian punk rock institution who formed in Spring Plains, Victoria in 1982, spearheaded by founding member and bass player Ross Knight.
To date, the band have released 10 studio albums since their self-titled debut (1987) and their influence has been global, with UK band The Prodigy sampling their music on 1997’s ‘The Fat of the Land’ LP and Nirvana producer Butch Vig proclaiming them an influence on both Nirvana and the Seattle grunge scene of the 1990’s.
The Cosmic Psycho’s have survived the passing decades, musical trends and fashions with ease. Most fans will tell you they’re simple blokes (you can trust), just making straight-ahead, good-fun, Australian influenced punk rock.
